Reasons why bloggers quit blogging

The rate at which bloggers quit blogging each month is very high thereby leaving their blog abandoned and then rendering it useless.
Some after creating useful and attractive post/content then later abandon their blog for one reason or the other. Today I am going to tell the major reasons why bloggers quit blogging.

 1. Not knowing the meaning of blogging

Some blogger just jumps into blogging without knowing the meaning of blogging, Let me tell you the meaning of blogging.

Blogging is the process by which a blogger write and publish topics the suit his audience/ visitors usually in the form of write up and photos or Blogging is the act whereby the blogger write and share information concerning his niche and creating topics on what he know. Yes, you cannot write on what you don’t know, that is not possible, except you want to copy another content.

According to my definitions on blogging, blogging is just talking about “where a blogger write and share information concerning his niche” many bloggers jump into blogging without knowing that they are supposed to write and publish content for their audience and not copying others content.

2. Not having a tutor in blogging

This is one of the reasons why blogger quit because when having a problem on their blog they don’t know anyone to ask for help and also not having a tutor that can help by telling them the tip to be a successful blogger.

3. Not been able to create unique content

Many bloggers cannot create topics and discuss it on their blog. Creating a blog and designing it, is very simple but to create unique content is not easy. Some bloggers cannot write more the 500 words on their blog without copying, that is very bad, Some don’t even know what to post again on their blog while some are not good in writing because of the poor construction of words. Not being able to create unique content can lead to copying another blog content.

Solutions

I. Try as much as possible to improve on your vocabularies

II. Test yourself by creating content on your own that is related to your niche.

4. Thinking blogging is stressful

Many bloggers nowadays, think blogging is stressful why it is not. Some blogger thinks that posting every day will make you improve in your blogging career, no! blogging is not like that. Note as a newbie in blogging, if you do this then blogging will be stressful for you, I mean by trying to create an article to publish every day. This is because Blogger is humans, they need to rest and also they need time to create another post. The average time a blogger can post on his blog is two time a week.

5. Not, having enough time for their blog

Many blogs are been closed and are been abandon just because the owner of the blog does not have enough time for blogging, replying comments which will lead to losing traffics which make them quit blogging.

Solutions

I. Try as much as possible to fix a time for blogging.

II. Make sure you reply comments on your blog as least with the difference of 24 hours.

6. Little or less coding skill

Blogger nowadays jumps into blogging without learning about programming languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP etc. They see the programming languages as rubbish and not used to them, and then they quit when they quit when they cannot use the one their blog. These programming languages can help you a long way in your blogging career and can also help you in customizing your blog.

7. Not making money

This is the main reason why bloggers quit because they not making money from their blogs. Some will say they are paying for hosting and yet they are not making money for it. First of all, you have to be patients the average time a blogger can make money from his blog is 7 months after publishing his first article in his blog. Many bloggers are not been patient in the process of making money on their blog which leads them to copy other bloggers content just to make sure that they have posted on their blog or some will even fell into the hands of a wrong Ad network. If your main aim or reason of joining blogging is to make money them I will personally advise you to quit.

8. Not having enough traffic

It is very painful if have a nice blog but it is having poor traffic. Traffic often make some blogger quit, After drafting and publishing content and the only two to fifty people visited your site, you will fill like quitting.

Solutions

I. Always share your content to top social media like Google Plus, Facebook, Whatsapp, and Twitter.

II. Make your post interactive, that is telling your audience or visitor to comment if they do not understand.

III. Encourage you audience/visitor to share your post.

IV. Write the attractive title for your post that will make your audience/visitor want to click on it, to reduce your bounce rate.

9. Choosing the wrong niche

This is one of the popular reason why bloggers quit before I continue, let me tell what is a niche. Niche in blogging can be defined as a comfortable or suitable role you can do in blogging. There are some many niches in blogging e.g Entertainment, Technology, Health etc. Many bloggers think that to main way to become a successful blogger is by choosing the most popular niche or joining his friends on his niche. Like I recently said in the beginning of this post, Blogging is the act whereby the blogger writes and share information concerning his niche and creating topics on what he know. Here blogging is about the author of what he can do. Many bloggers end up choosing the wrong niche just to get traffic.

Solutions

I. Before starting your blog choose the niche you can work on, are you good on health matters??? can you give basics tips on health??? I.e writing content on your own then I recommend you go for Health niche and also if you are good on others like entertainment, lifestyle, technology then goes for it.

II. Don’t copy others be unique

III. Before going into a niche, make sure you research about it.

IV. Make sure you don’t engage in multi-niching. I am not saying that having more than one niche on one blog is bad but as a new blogger, I suggest you focus on one niche.
